About Whitefish Mountain Resort
Whitefish Mountain Resort sits on Big Mountain above the town of Whitefish in north-west Montana, a short drive from a historic railway town with a lively main street. Skiing here began in 1947, and the resort is partly on National Forest land. Its terrain spans groomed trails, open bowls and glades known for tree skiing, with terrain parks and a boardercross course. Families will find a Kids Center and lessons for every age, while the summit looks towards Glacier National Park. Lodging ranges from condos to ski-in/ski-out stays.
