Vail Mountain

Vail Mountain rises above the town of Vail in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, with a broad front side of groomed runs and the seven Back Bowls on the far side of the ridge. At its foot sit Vail Village and Lionshead, European-style pedestrian villages with restaurants, shops and lodging, and Gondola One takes skiers from Vail Village straight onto the mountain. Terrain suits every level, from gentle learning areas to open bowls and tree skiing, and the villages stay lively after the lifts close.
