Sunday River spreads across eight interconnected peaks in Newry, western Maine, linked by a network of lifts that let skiers roam from one summit to the next. Wide-open cruisers and tucked-away glades give every ability room to explore, backed by extensive snowmaking. South Ridge Lodge is the main hub for tickets, rentals and beginner terrain, with further base areas offering dining and shops. Guests can stay at one of two ski-in, ski-out hotels or a dog-friendly inn.
