About Snowbasin Resort
Snowbasin Resort sits on the back side of Mt. Ogden in Utah’s Northern Wasatch, near Huntsville. Founded in 1940, it is one of the oldest continually operating ski areas in North America, and it hosted events at the 2002 Winter Games. Its three zones, Strawberry, Needles and John Paul, offer wide-open bowls, groomed runs, steep tree skiing and family-friendly terrain. Earl’s Lodge is the slopeside base, the Needles Gondola rises to Needles Lodge, and summer adds hiking, mountain biking and scenic gondola rides.
