About Palisades Tahoe

Palisades Tahoe is a single resort on the north side of Lake Tahoe in California, made up of two mountains: Palisades, in Olympic Valley, and Alpine, in neighbouring Alpine Meadows, joined by the Base to Base Gondola. Olympic Valley hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics, and the resort is known for its granite cliffs, open bowls and demanding lines, alongside plenty of terrain for beginners and intermediates. An aerial tram climbs from the Village at Palisades Tahoe, a walkable base area with lodging, restaurants and shops, to views over the Sierra and the lake.
