Méribel sits at the heart of the Trois Vallées, giving direct lift access to both Courchevel and Val Thorens. Set among pine forests at 1,450m, the resort has a warm chalet-style character and a well-connected lift system that fans out across sunny, tree-lined slopes. Terrain is ideally suited to confident intermediates, though the Saulire and Mont Vallon sectors deliver steep challenges. Méribel hosted Olympic events in 1992 and continues to invest in modern lifts and snowmaking. After skiing, the resort centre buzzes with a good mix of bars, restaurants and family activities.
