About Lutsen Mountains
Lutsen Mountains rises above Lake Superior on Minnesota’s North Shore, in a Superior National Forest setting. Skiing and snowboarding spread across four mountains, with a mix of beginner, intermediate and expert terrain. The Summit Express gondola carries guests up Moose Mountain for views over the lake, while the main base at the end of Ski Hill Road has on-mountain rentals and dining. Slopeside lodging close to the gondola makes it easy to stay on the mountain between ski days.
