Kicking Horse Mountain Resort sits in the Purcell Mountains near the town of Golden, British Columbia. The Golden Eagle Express gondola carries visitors up the mountain to the Eagle’s Eye Restaurant. The terrain spans bowls, trees, chutes and steeps, with long descents and runs for beginners through to experts. Accommodation is available both on the mountain and in town. In summer, the gondola gives access to hiking and mountain biking, and visitors can also see the resort’s grizzly bear refuge.
