Granite Peak

Granite Peak sits on the slopes of Rib Mountain, just outside Wausau, Wisconsin, where skiing began in the 1930s. Terrain suits every ability, from long family-friendly cruisers to mogul runs, gladed trees and terrain parks. The Granite Peak Alpine Center offers lessons for first-timers and improving skiers, alongside an on-mountain rental centre. At the base, the stone Historic Chalet and the larger Sundance Chalet serve food, while night skiing extends the day and Wausau offers accommodation nearby.
