About Discovery Ski Area
Discovery Ski Area lies in southwest Montana near Georgetown Lake, between the historic towns of Anaconda and Philipsburg. The mountain has three faces: the lift-served front side above the day lodge, with gentle green runs, wide cruisers and a terrain park; the Granite Chair area, with steeper groomers and mogul fields; and the north-facing Limelight, with treed double-black slopes and narrow chutes. The base lodge has a pub, restaurant and rental shop, and Nordic trails run through the Georgetown Lake area.
