Berkshire East Mountain Resort

Berkshire East Mountain Resort sits in Charlemont, in the Deerfield River Valley of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, and has long been run by the Schaefer family. Snowmaking covers the trails, which suit everyone from first-timers to experts, alongside a terrain park and night skiing. The Snow Sports School teaches skiing, snowboarding and telemark, a full-service rental shop is on site, and a snow tubing park lies beside the West Lodge. The Crazy Horse Bar & Grill in the Main Lodge overlooks the slopes. The resort generates its own electricity from solar and wind power, and summer brings whitewater rafting and downhill mountain biking.
