About Val Thorens
Val Thorens is the highest resort in Europe at 2,300m and the top station of the Trois Vallées ski area. Altitude guarantees snow from November through May, with north-facing slopes and a glacier adding extra insurance. The purpose-built village is compact and ski-in/ski-out, surrounded by wide-open bowls, long cruising runs and serious off-piste itineraries above the treeline. Despite its high altitude, Val Thorens has developed a lively village atmosphere with quality restaurants and a renowned après-ski scene.
